How To Execute A PERFECT Pop Shuvit

A pop shuvit is the SECOND trick you should learn. Read my guide on how to ollie before reading this.

To start, place your feet like the man in the picture. Now, bend your knees, but not as much as you do with an ollie. Now, JUMP! Push the tail of the board BEHIND you. (Using the ball of your foot) Keep your front foot just above the board. This will keep the board from popping into the air.

Either way, you want to make sure that you push that tail hard enough to get the board to spin around, at least 180 degrees (all the way around once, so that the tail ends up where the nose was). If you end up making it spin around twice (360 degrees), that's fine too! Or even more! But for now, just aim for one spin.
