How to Create, and Verify a PlayerAuctions Account

Introduction:

What is Player Auctions:

Player Auctions basically acts as a virtual middleman, safeguarding both buyer and seller on all purchases.
By doing this, it eliminates the risk when dealing with virtual goods.

How does it safeguard both buyer and seller:

Basically, when using player auctions, the seller creates a thread which advertises what they have for sale. When they buyer wants to place an order, they click on their thread, much the same as sythe.
The buyer then places an order through Player Auction's Secure Checkout button. Player Auctions will then verify the payment, usually taking 10-30minutes.
Upon completion of the verification, Player Auctions email's the seller telling them it is safe and secure to deliver the goods. Both buyer and seller then confirm via their 'Order Detail' page.
Player Auctions will then disburse the money to the seller within 2-3days. If the buyer doesn't confirm the order delivery, the seller can provide proof of delivery in the form of pictures or a video.

How to Create / Verify an Account:

1) Visit the site: www.playerauctions.com

2) Click on the button where it says, 'Register':


3) Fill in the form on the following link, like so:


4) You will be re-directed to the following page, after clicking 'Register':


5) Check your emails, and follow the link in the following email. (Check Junk / Spam if it hasn't appeared in your inbox within 15minutes.


6)After following the link in the verification email, you will be directed to the following window. Click on 'Sign into my Account'.


7) You will then be required to verify your account, to do this, click on the following button:


8) You now need to enter in your details, this is because Player Auctions will automatically send you a verification PIN wither by TXT or Phone call, (You Specify which one). When filling in the information below, you can enter in fake details but be warned, if you're planning on purchasing something over $100 in value, you will need to submit additional information, which is near impossible with fake info.The details they require are:

First Name:
Last Name:
Country / Area:
Address Line 1:
Address Line 2:
City:
State:
Province:
Postal / ZIP Code:
Timezone:
The Validation Code they provide.
Phone number, (either Mobile, or Landline): --- THIS IS A MUST !

Click on the button: Send my Verification PIN


9) You will then need to enter in the PIN they sent you into the following form:


10) Congratulations, You have now successfully created, and verified your Player Auctions account, enabling you to buy / sell on the site. You should see the following screen:

I know this may sound weird or noobish, but what if I don't have a phone...?

 

I only made this guide to help people out with the basics, so I don't have unlimited knowledge on the situation, but as far as I know, you need a home phone / mobile. If you have neither, try asking a friend if you use theirs. I believe it doesn't cost to verify. Although that's un-confirmed.

This is a wonderful guide. The pictures work great and fit into the guide perfectly. I also liked the use of color and the font you used. The guide also explained every thing in full detail and made it "noob friendly". Although I don't think it's too hard to make an account without a guide I"m sure it will help some users.

This is a pretty good guide, it could help users who don't know how to create and verify a PlayerAuctions account. Though, I suggest you increase the font. I was struggling to read, to be honest. So, just increase the font and you'll be fine. Keep up the good work!

Nice guide, I already have it verified, but this guide is easy to understand for new people.

I just think PA can lower their fees

 

The last time i made a purchase through PA i was phoned and they said that i had reached my accounts spending limit, i dont know if this was true or not but i haven't bought gold since. During the phone call the operator said that before my next purchase i would have to "verify" My account by a form of Personal ID, but i dont know how to do this. I have a copy of my passport saved to my laptop but i don't know how to show them this so that i can continue with my buying, any suggestions as to how to go about doing this?

A drivers license works fine too.

I put in some old details when I was registering an account and ended up having to refund a 750USD deal because of it now I have to wait 24 hours for refund to process..

 

That is still true. You can still buy RSGP using fake details, but for larger purchases, like your said above, it will not work because your information won't be correct. I'll add in that note though, thanks.
