How to create a Website. [Not Freewebs]

Alright I'm sorry for "spamming" my guide. It's just that I don't think that this is very good, and it's just about the same topic as mine. If you want to make it better, try showing what to do after choosing your forums or design your website. Also maybe link to a HTML tutorial on sythe so they'll know how to make one themselves.

Also, for the record I'm nowhere near 12..

Could be a little more in depth, but overall very good. I should make a Dreamweaver tutorial. :-)

First of all, LEARN ENGLISH, your and you're are different so stop using them in the wrong context.

-Web Hosting-
To find good web-hosting you should look up some of the sites you've heard
most about. I recommend Vbulletin or Godaddy. (Vbulletin IS expensive.) Web- hosting plans can very in many different ways (cost, rules, satisfaction etc.) so THINK, and chose carefully, when your on the step of web-hosting.
Good piece of advice - DON'T use web hosts that do not primarily sell themselves as web hosts. GoDaddy is a shitty web host and vbulliten is no better, when choosing a web host you actually use a web host not a company based in forum software or domain sales.

-Template Builder Hosting-
This type of website hosting is the easiest to use because no software or programming is needed. Pre-created website templates makes this hosting alot more easy for the person.

You should also mention that with a template, this means everyone else with the same shitty hosting is also going to have the same look as yours and therefore lose all uniqueness that you need to make your site work.

If you want your site to be noticed, big and popular.. if you have the extra money go to www.google.com/adsense and they can ad your website on google. but it costs though.

AdSense in the long run is a waste of money, you're better off using word-of-mouth, and it is only word-of-mouth that will make your site popular.

-Getting Your Web-Hosting-

[FORUMS]
I recommend Vbulletin, and for this you can buy a leased license (1 year) or an owned license. (unlimited).

HANG THE FUCK ON!

Are you trying to say that vBulliten, the actual SOFTWARE (From looking at the screenshot) is web hosting?!
ARE YOU FUCKING RETARTED!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!
Forum software is not web hosting you dumb shit.

[WEBSITES]
I recommend Hostmonster, because its rated #1 Web-hoster, and my friend had it. this is a very CHEAP and RELIABLE web-host.

You sir, are an absolute idiot, so what if your friend had it? I can probably find hundreds of other web hosts my friends have used that they say were good FOR THEM, but they sucked for other things.

It all depends on what the site is going to be as to what hosting you should get, if you've got a site that is likely to get an insurge of visitors from a front-page of digg or the like, the hosting you state (HostMonster) is likely to crash and you'd lose all those visitors and revenue, whereas a hosting company like MediaTemple.net is designed to withstand that sort of inflow of customers.

Get your facts right next time dipshit.

Now that you have your web-hosting and domain, type in your domain in your adress bar, and theres your site!. now you can go to the admincp, and add mos, section, forums, threads whatever you want.

YOU FUCKING IDIOT!
You need to point the nameservers for the domain to the hosting you dumbass, if you were to type the domain in without the nameservers changed you'll land on the godaddy landing page.

AND A WEBSITE IS NOT THE SAME AS JUST A FORUM.

Your guide shouldn't be here, it is a failure beyond failure.

A complete "narb"? I am pointing out the flaws of someone trying to falsly educate the rest of you idiots, and also there is no irony in the mispelling of vBulliten, you obviously do not understand what irony is.

Is a pretty nice guide, but TDD is right, some of your points are messed up.
But it did help me out a little, gave me a little more understanding on how to set up a domain, but didn't shed any light on how to actually 'create' your site. I tells us how to make a domain now, and that's about it. Correct me if i'm wrong, but creating a website is where you build it, eg: using Dreamweaver to build your pages etc etc.

Also, you could point out, [Because your guide is pretty much about setting up forums], that Proboards.com is a good free host to use for that.
Also Invisionfree

One thing you could do to make this a bit better is res-size the images so we don't have to side-scroll or scroll down to read then scroll up to see the picture, over and over. Otherwise, I like the guide.

yeah fuck you TDD, seriously man "ARE YOU A FUCKING RETARD?" no but the way your acting make you look like one. seriously, you dont have to go overboard and be a dick about it, just say " i didnt like your guide." reasons etc.

and thanks for your opinions other people.

i'm not going to simply say "I didn't like it" if your guide is wrong in the first place, so not, fuck you.

Decent Guide
Got me started on making a website...
Which is almost done (have to finish forums)

7/10

And now I am running from here before a giant fight between you and TDD happens o_o

-runs to the hills-
