How to check a file on MSN

Alright Yo!

Many of you probably know alot of new people to Sythe scammed/ get scammed over MSN by keyloggers and the like. This is a VERY short guide showing you how to "combat" those pesky keyloggers.

1. Don't accept images over MSN - Ask the person nicely to upload the file onto a image hosting site such as ImageShack or PhotoBucket.

2. If you are offered a file over MSN click decline, by doing this it will show you the true file extension - Files that appear as .txt or .jpg for example can actually be .exe files.

If you see a file that is something like image1.tmp.exe then chances are it's a keylogger or some other sort of malicious software that you definitely WONT want on your computer!

Short Guide indeed, and it's extremely simple.

I don't even think you cared to put any effort forth either, by starting off with 'Alright Yo!'.
No use of color or text changes, and a useless guide, IMO.

 

This guide is simple. I think a 10 year old will also know this.

Well you can improve it by actually adding details to each heading. Like why shouldnt we accept photos on Msn etc.
