How to change the Sythe.org style/theme

Hey guys,

With the release of the new NewGen Lite, I saw some people posting comments regarding now knowing how to change the theme(s)/style(s). Here is a pretty basic guide on how to change the Sythe.org style/theme to your preferences.

Step 1: Go to your web browser and to www.Sythe.org.


Step 2: Scroll down to the very bottom. Click the "Quick Style Chooser" on the bottom left hand side. Select one of them.



Below, I have added images depicting the different styles/themes that Sythe.org offers.

Style 1: Sythe.org Classic (This might get removed in the nearby future)



Style 2: Sythe Mobile (This is primarily for those that view Sythe on a mobile device



Style 3: Sythe NextGen



Style 4: Sythe NextGen - Lite



If you want to make the theme/style be your default (meaning it will automatically use the theme/style whenever you login), then refer to the steps below.

Step 1: Go to "Edit Profile" (wherever that may be - it depends on your current style).




Step 2: Scroll down and choose a theme/style. Just press "save changes."



Voila, there you have it. It's as simple as that.

 

Good guide with lots of pictures! When I first came to this site I had a hard to finding out where to change the theme, so this should be helpful to some of our newer members. Once again great guide!

 

The actual guide is good, but Roy I'm sure you're with me when I say that this guide is very basic. Had you expanded it, and went into showing how to set avatars, signatures, and fun profile options then I think it would've been better. Sadly, this guide is as simple as one, two and three.

On the contrary, the pictures are well set out, and the text is really nice. If I were to make a suggestion, I'd just say center it next time, make a guide look neater. Other than that, it looks great.
