How to change/hide/mask your IP address (no proxy)

Ok, i've seen a few threads with people asking how they can change or hide their IP address if they're sharing accounts/doing multiple login or anything. Many of the proxy sites do not work with java so here's a better way to do it. - When testing to see if your IP has sucsessfully changed use this - http://www.ip-adress.com/

There is also a program to use which allows you to mask your IP, the only downfall with this is your IP will be Russian - I charge zamorak helm for the program!

I will show you how to change your IP address in Firefox and in IE. I will also show you how to HIDE your IP.

    To change your IP address

This is on IE: - Read further down for FireFox users!

    1.) Open Internet Explorer
    2.) Click on Tools>Internet Options
    3.) Click the connections tab
    4.) Click on Lan Settings
5.) Check the box that says "Use a proxy server for your LAN
6.) Type the IP address in, will also be shown later on.
7.) Use the port - Also shown later on
8.) Click Ok, then click ok again
    9.) Close your browser
10.) Open your browser and wait for it to connect to the Codeen Network.
11.) Now you have a brand new IP address

    Ip address: 129.12.3.75
Port: 3128 - Server is currently down!
    OR
    IP Address: 193.129.184.167
    Port: 8080
    OR
    Server: 213.122.170.162
    Port: 8080
    Location: Clacton, United Kingdom

This is the IP & port to use. This will show you to be from the UK, visit www.intl-alliance.com for many more IP addresses and ports from different parts of the world.

Ok this is how to do it on FireFox:

    To configure FireFox:

    1) Run FireFox
    2) Click Tools - Options
    3)Click Advanced
    4) Click Network
    5) Click Settings
    6) Click Manual Proxy Configuration
7)Enter ip address and port #
8Click use this proxy server for all protocols
    9) Click OK
    10)Click OK again
    11)Shut Fire Fox down
    12) Restart Fire Fox

If the above is no good for you, using the cmd prompt to renew & release your IP may help!

    To open the cmd prompt:

    Go start
    Run
    type cmd
This brings up the command prompt.
Type this: ipconfig /release OR ipconfig /renew
