How To Cancel A Registered Email

ok so idk if anyone else has had this problem, but recently i was trying to sell my account and the guy of course, tried to scam me, so he set an email and recovs on it, most people know how to delete recovs, but i couldnt figure out no matter who i asked, how to delete the email off my account. then i was just clicking everything and it was kinda confusing but i figured out how.

so you go to account>account management>email settings> and at the bottom is will say If you no longer wish to receive emails from us, you can unsubscribe by clicking here. so click the click here, and thats it, its unregistered .

if this has already been posted or if everyone already knows this im sorry, i was just trying to help for those who dont know how.

I didn't think you could unregister the E-mail from the account itself.

But doesn't doing that only stop Jagex from sending you E-mails?

 

nope, it completely takes it off

or couldnt u just update the email with one of your own?

 

Yea. You would just do enter new e-mail and set the code. etc.

sorry demented radio, i will keep that in mind next time , also there yes you can change it the other way, BUT thats only if you know the registered email, if your hacked and dont know the email thats registered, this way is the only way that i know of.

this didnt work. after i clicked it it asks me for old email and it will send a code to it that i got to input
