There are many different points that have to be maintained to make sure that your transaction is safe, whether you are buying or even selling Runescape gold.

• First of all... let's break down what staying safe actually means when you are RWT'ing!

- When you hear the words "Staying Safe" during this guide, I am essentially stating - successfully selling or buying your Runescape gold or Runescape items without your actions resulting with a ban to you account(s).

- Like I mentioned before... there are many factors in staying safe during your transaction, and most importantly after your transaction (As most bans do take 1-14 days on average)

- Enough talking about the bad results in Rwt'ing such as bans... Let's get to the point in what actions to take to stay safe and not worry about losing your account and items on the account after your trades!

1) Train up the account you are buying or selling the gold on, including combat and noncombat skills.
2) Trade in populated locations and populated worlds. (DO NOT TRADE IN LUMBRIDGE TOP BANK OR SOUTH OF GRAND EXCHANGE... as it is a very populated RWT trading zone)
3) Masking your IP address on another computer or even a vps just for rwting may be a very good investment to keep your accounts safe that you "Scape" on. (DO NOT USE A VPN)
4) Junk trading helps, trade some items instead of putting nothing up in trade while you are receiving/giving a large amount of gold.
5) DO NOT make a new account just to sell off of, this is a very easy way to get banned, especially in Rs3 with more advanced RWT banning systems.
6) Make the account you're trading off of a Runescape member, you can never go wrong with doing so
7) Of course... if you followed #6 and made your account a Runescape Member, go ahead and do your trades in members only worlds!
8) The more active you are on the account, actually playing the game the less chance of ban there will be
9) Make sure the person you are doing business with is using safe techniques just like you are.

Don't mean to gravedig but this is the only thread I've found with this advice.

I swap my gold to and from my main and maxed melee staker. If I was selling about 300m a week tops, following most of these guidelines is a ban still pretty much garunteed? Read that basically rwt will always end in a ban

 

Thank ya man! Appreciate this, been looking for some sort of how to RWT safely. Also was wondering about how long the bans last, not bad 1-14 days. Do they take the gold off if you're banned though?
