    I've been searching and searching and just can't find the solution.

    You can't
    people usually say "bump" but you can get a warning or infraction because it is considered spamming

    just make a good thread people will post alot in :p

    I've got plenty in the first few hours of the thread being made :p
    Hardly any now though haha, like 4th page along.
    Are you saying people replying on the thread has something to do with how high up it is or?

    Don't say bump, just have someone post on it. When you post on a thread it is automatically refreshed and put at the top of the list in the section. If you are selling/buying something though, I don't see a problem in posting every couple of days if no one posts. Just don't post 3 posts in a row on the same day, post and then wait. If no one posts on it within a couple of days, then post again.
