Good guide for someone that is a beginner.

 

I wish the part about compatibility was not so confusing. Im sure there could be more information there.

 

Most of that information can be found on the website of the motherboard's creator.
What part exactly are you struggling with? Shouldn't be too hard to explain here.

 

You should probably incorporate breadboarding somewhere in here.

 

Once i get money, i'm for sure going to make a nice build.

Thanks for this! Just posted something about possibly getting a new laptop and people suggested that I should just build a desktop PC. This guide is great since I have some references now.

I plan on getting a gaming desktop once I'm settled into college. I may as well build one since all I ever hear is that it's the better way to go. I really want a MacBook to use for my college needs, but they're shit for gaming, have delayed versions, and sometimes don't even get a version, so I really need another computer just for my desires.

Make this a video format, they're more helpful imo when you're building first time. Nice guide though.
