How to avoid geting hacked on runescape.

Now, Before anyone corrects me. You are wrong. If you think I'm wrong about something then you have obviously stumbled upon a lie or a myth.
Ok, Common ways of being hacked on runescape. Let's start with the most obvious one.

Phishing -
Phising is making a website that looks exactly like the website you are leaving. For example runescape, It would be a exact look alike of the runescape website. If you were to log on via that website, you're infromation would be going to the owner of that sites server and not jagex's. Thus him geting your user and pass.


Packet Switching -
If you are streaming anything... anything at all. Watching a youtube video... Someone can hack you, it's not avoidable.. When you are streaming a video you are constantly bringing in infromation, which come in packets... a hacker like myself could edit those packets and put a bot or a virus in it and it goes right into you're network.

Virus injection via website -
When you enter a site, any site.. You're computer automatically starts downloading the code off the website. So, if someone has put a trojan in the code. You're computer will download that trojan. It's nothing to worry about as long as you have good anti-virus software.

Keylogging - You cannot be keylogged through runescape. That's a common myth. You can however be keylogged through A.I.M or any instant messenger. (notice the idiot mods geting hacked a lot). It records keystrokes and of course... you're user and pass are keystrokes.

Common myths.
- You cannot hack someone with just their ip adress. That's only where it starts.
- Mac's aren't better then PC's. Both have advantages.
- You cant be hacked on a Mac. Bullshit, Come into a instant messenger chat with me and I'll boot you offline and grab you're info in under 5 mins.
