~ How to always have proof if you get scammed ~

Ok, I've been using this site for a while, www.meebo.com

This site allows you to log on 4 different IM's like msn or aim, and you can even log on to all 4 at the same time, all on one interface. The feature that will help you get revenge on a scammer is the automatic Chat Logs. Once you create an account on Meebo (takes about 15 seconds), and are logged in and chatting, it will automatically save all of your conversations with everyone you talk to. If you're really short on evidence of a scammer, you could even have a mod log onto your Meebo account to verify it's true. There's no way to make any fake chat logs, so you know that if someone says something to you, there's no way for them to take it back.

Notes:
-Must be logged in to your Meebo account, not your AIM MSN etc. (when you sign in to your Meebo, it automatically signs you in to all 4 IM's if you've chosen so)
-To view the chat logs for anyone, just right click them and click "Chat Logs"

Plain text chat logs have never, and will never be used as proof towards anything.

Text can be faked by creating another account and "re-enacting" etc.

 

No, the chat logs are on the Meebo account.

And you can't "re-enact" it unless you have that person's MSN/AIM or whatever. You can't change the chat logs either.

 

I meant re-enacting with another screen name, as in, creating two accounts, one two act as the scammer and one as the victim.

 

Well then you'd have proof of someone scamming you... but how would you connect that to the person you want to frame on Sythe?

 

Say that it was his private account or something...?

 

They'd have no way of proving that this "private" IM belonged to the person on Sythe.

And if someone does in fact use a private IM, they'd PM you on Sythe to verify it.

 

Regardless, it's still a plain text log which is never used as proof for scamming.

Besides, why use this if you can take fancy screenshots and other things that people are already using?

 

No, it's not a plain text log. It's hosted on their website so you can't edit, change, or do whatever to it.

Because now you don't have to take screenshots. And this is better than screenshots, because you can't edit it. If it's in the chat log, IT HAPPENED.

vid every trade. get hypercam or something make sure they pm u before every trade. that should do the trick

 

Alright guys, I get it that you can get hypercam or take loads of screenshots... I'm trying to make it easier for you, so you don't have to waste your time with all of that.

They dont like going to websites of course, you must post proof on SYTHE only.
