How to add gif as avatar

I've been trying to figure this out for the past 45 minutes, but I can't get it right. I've tried searching for help to no avail.

Basically, the gif I have is over 64kb, but it is 150p x 100p which (due to my donor benefits, is my maximum). Any help? I assumed that if it's not under 64kb, it'd have to be 150x100?

What I did was saved the original, opened it in Gimp, resized it to 150x100, and saved it.

 

Idk, I tried for quite some time trying to figure out, but nothing I did worked :/ I'm not an expert, but I think that GIF has too many clips/images compiled to work here on Sythe. But yeah, definitely keep asking for other people's advice/support--I kinda interested now also lol.

 

You can ask a moderator to add it for you? They've done it for me before and other people. I'm not sure if it has to be a Global+ though.
