How the hell do I get in contact with Jagex?

Long story short, my account was hacked early January 2014, I contacted accounthelp@jagex on the 19th of Jan and they confirmed the account had been clearly hacked and sent me a recovery link to get back in control of my account. Great. After checking everything was in order I noticed a big permanent ban for botting hit on 16th of January so obviously whoever hacked me had been using my 90 mining like an idiot. I contacted them again via e-mail letting them know it was banned while I clearly wasn't in control of the account at the time proven by the fact they looked into it and recovered it for me, but no reply. I've since been sending the odd e-mail and in-game ticket for around 5 months without 1 single response.

I'm totally pissed off considering i've been playing for like 5-6 years and this was my main RS3 account, how do I get these fuckers to reply/look into this for me? It is so glaringly obvious a 2 minute check could sort this all out and I could get my account back which is the most annoying thing.

After reading up on their FAQ about banning, they hold people who were hacked responsible for the hacker botting on their account.. then they go on to contradict themselves..

We do not remove innocent players from our game, as there is no benefit to us in doing so. We thoroughly investigate both the macro offence, as well as the status of the account at the time of the offence, and if an account has been banned, it is because a macro program was used on the account and there is no evidence that the account was hijacked at the time of the offence.

Jagex are fucking tools man, any advice?

 

I think they do that because of all the stories they get. By putting the blame on the victim, it completely eliminates that problem. They are really strict and confident in who they ban, their decision is absolute apparently.

The best thing you can do is secure your computer and start over if you feel the need to continue on playing.

Jagex is famous for treating their customers like trash.
The best thing you can do is start all over and bot your stats again.
I never botted before, but my main account was permanently banned for "Macroing" Major 3 years ago. I tried contacting them for the longest and they never responded. What I did after that was, create a new account and botted my stats and money. My point being, if they're going to just treat you like a botter when you weren't even in control of your account(And you have evidence that your account wasn't in your control), you might as well bot.

 

We don't know that you didn't bot, but they have some good systems in place which are pretty good at catching botters, so if you didn't bot, then you're unlucky.

Try spamming them on twitter, however, they will most likely ignore it.

Best thing to do is get over it, start a new account and get on with it.

 

I believe they now ignore all requests to unban a account for botting. They have so much trust in their bot detection program.

 

Tweet at Mod Beano (I believe). He will more than likely respond after a couple times. And keep emailing them with more demand each time. I had same problem with them not cooperating, just keep pestering them. Might give way, they did with me. Gave my account back .

 

Honestly there may be tons of botters who after getting banned pretend the account was hacked and then request an unban. You could try to negotiate a skill reset if the account means that much to you. Even then you would need a person in Jagex with the power to do so to take your case.
