    Slayer vs. Power level

    Hello all,
I am new to the world of the EoC. I played runescape for years, and quit just because it took too much of my time. Now I am back just because I enjoy playing it and have matured so it doesn't take over my life haha.

Anyway. My goal overall is to have a maxed account. I have no 99s, and want to start with melee. Would I be better off doing this through slayer (which I guess would take me longer, but I'm going to have to train it eventually anyway. And I get charms.), or should I powerlevel (I was doing giant rock crabs earlier. 110kexp/hour and a ton of charms. Probably quicker right?)
    What would you all recommend?

Bonus Question: I see people talk about getting banned when they bot and stuff. Does anyone have any idea what the chances of getting banned are if I bot-chop about 5k willows a day? That way I would get 99 woodcut in about a month, and stuff. It's a paid script on RSbot if that helps at all

I recommend training combat via Slayer. Its everything you would get powerlevelling and then some.

110k/xp an hour isn't fast, I am certain you could get more than that doing slayer.

5k willows a day would require botting for about 5 hours, I personally don't recommend it.

Definitely do slayer, using a slayer helmet helps make up for lower exp monsters

Slayer is good for training as each assignment gives you something different to do, and this would allow you to train all 3 combat styles each day depending on the tasks. I used slayer for all my training from 70+.

So I'm gathering that I should go with slayer haha. Which is good, because I really want to do slayer. Does anybody have a good guide I can read for it? I know some assignments are better with different types of weapons and stuff. I'm probably going to end up trying to melee everything anyway, which can make stuff painful.

Edit: Nevermind on the guide. FOund a few good ones on youtube.

Slayer is by far the best way to train combat, purely because you are raising another skill that you'd need to do at a later date, and the spread of tasks means that to be really effective you need to use all 3 styles of the combat triangle, aswell as making sure that you're wearing xp boosting equipment such as the 'full slayer helm' etc.
