How should Adrian Peterson be punished?

Why does it matter if they're in the NFL or not? Black is black lol. You're making stereo types now

Ray Rice should get another chance yes. He messed up 30 seconds of his life, he's human. What he did was very wrong and he should serve his time. But once he grades out that he's learned from it and became better, bring him back then and only then.

 

A switch is a twig from a tree, if you are raised a certain way i know statistically that many people raise their children the same way their parents raised them, but thats a shallow excuse to use when you get caught. Pictures were pretty intense in my opinion, and just because your parents did it to you doesn't mean you have to do it to your kids, thats unreasonable. Ray Rice got suspended for domestic violence, AP with child abuse. Pretty much the same thing.

 

Haha what I'm trying to say is like theres what around 200 black people in the NFL? More? Less? Those 200 people are not an accurate representation of the entire black community is what I'm trying to say.

Yeah I agree that it was a simple mess up and his first offense, but i think he should be tried just like any ordinary man, not given special benefits just because he's the #1 runningback for the NFL. He deserves to come back, but only after his punishment by the law (not by the NFL)

 

I don't think that's how he's looking at it at all, at least I hope not.

More like

"When I did something bad as a kid, my dad would hit me with a switch. So when my kid does something bad, that punishment seems logical to me"

If he doesn't see it as a cruel punishment (which imo it is), but merely a fair and logical punishment for his kid, then I can't see how you can compare this to Ray Rice punching his then-girlfriend in the face hard enough to break her jaw.

Idk. Maybe I need to look into the story a bit more, but the Ray Rice situation seems to be on a completely different level to me

 

There are way more black people than 200 in NFL I'd say probably about 700 or so. There's 52 roster spots, 32 teams. 52x32= 1,664.

They're not an accurate representation of entire black community but I don't think an NFL black player is much different than a non NFL black person.
