How RSPS staff catch RWT'ers

Is there any way how people can see other people IP address just by knowing skype nickname? I've heard if u search on google for ''skype resolver'' you can get person ip just by entering his name. Does this actually work or how RSPS staff catch people before actual trade ingame ?

 

Depends how much information you put out for the public to see.

 

Oh yeah, it's an old thing of Skype. You can get users IP address quite easily. You just have to make sure the user is online, first. Then use the resolver.
Resolver will give you a wrong IP address, if the user is not online. That means you have to add the person first, then he/ she will accept the friend request and then (when the person is online) you use the resolver.

NOTE: That's why you have to be careful on who you add to your contact list!
