How Often Did You Skip Highscool?

Enough to have the truency officer show up a few times.

 

Our highschool had those absence restrictions. If you missed more than 8 a semester then you had to retake whatever class that was affected. You bet I pushed the limits.

Now days, I wish I could call in sick to my job now and then. Not so easy in the military.

 

My best friend and I would leave after 4th period almost every day, we had a 6 Class day, and last 2 periods were P.E and American History. worked out well until a truancy officer showed up and then had a sit down with my School Counselor and Parents Good Times...

 

I used to skip first once a week (usually put a useless credit like Christian ethics or woodworking in first for this reason) or so and head to a Waffle House for breakfast with a friend. Aside from that I might have skipped the odd last period if I had better things to do after school.

 

I didn't skip at all really until my last year. At that point I only took a few ditch days. I wouldn't say a crazy amount maybe 12 days over four years.

 

More towards exam period, much more efficient revising at home than at class. 2 hrs work at home vs whole day at school seemed a good deal to me.

 

Skipped Monday’s often or any day if I was in a good mood and the weather was good would go to the park round the corner instead lmao

 

My junior and senior year in highschool was carried out mostly at the nearby university, so while I never technically skipped high school, I would ditch college classes pretty often during my highschool/Associates degree phase. Never during my bachelors degrees though. Those classes were WAY too involved to miss for computer science and business management

Never one to skip school

 

I'd skip a class or two (or all of them) damn near every day of high school. I liked to smoke and sell weed in the park, and I felt like I was smarter than most of my teachers. There were some teachers whom I respected and would never skip (usually english class), but I ended up taking like 7 extra online classes during my senior year as well as back-to-back p.e. classes in the mornings in order to obtain enough credits to graduate. Skipping classes is a bad habit that took me a few years in college to overcome. Overall, I do not recommend it for most people. Stay in school, kids.

I didn't do it very often, since my school was strict as fuck, and the only way to actually get out of school when you've already been inside was if you were sent home by the schools nurse.

So to avoid going into class before actually going into the school was to call in sick.

 

Sounds terrible lol. Never was one of those people that skipped class, but you could leave at any time and nobody would bat an eye as long as you didn't wear the mandatory uniform when leaving. Wonder how it is today..

 

That sounds better than our school lmao. We couldn't go in unless you wore the mandatory uniform complete with your ID. else, you'd have to go home and change.

 

Maybe missed two or three days' worth of classes during college. Not a good habit to set.

 

Rarely till the twelfth grade; then maybe once or twice a month.

 

bruh i started skipping in college :/ clearly fucked up.

 

Alot before junior year, junior year I was on work release and got out of school by 11:00 so was dope so i never skipped.
