99 Range Vs. 99 Str?

If you had to choose between your favorites & various styles, which combat skill do you find is most effective & strongest against your oppenent?

1. In your opinion which is better in PKing (F2p & P2p?) & Why?

AND! ... Would you be 1 Pray? or get 31 or 44 to hit higher? Is it really worth it?

This has been on my mind for a while & I thought you guys would be the perfect one to ask! please let me know what you think!

I can't wait to read your many opinions as I'm sure others would also like to hear what you've got to share as well!

 

imo range, p2p, 45 pray.

 

at equal combat levels range tanks level almost everything.

 

The combat circle says that melee is strong against range. And basically everyone does melee. I'd just go with that so you match your opponents.

 

Strength wins, but only because of the excess of weapons available to people who melee.

 

There basically is no more pk triangle.

My only remaining concern is whether pray is worth the additional Cb levels when maxed at 99, is pray worth it? (both F2p or P2p)

 

Pay to Play I wouldn't debate leveling pray, nowdays especially if your not a hybird you may find that your target prays, then what? you wan't the ability to pray right back - How about those Rushers.... gotta have quick pray, will save a lot of time and money - Just my 2 cents

 

P2p,31 pray,and 99 better that range

 

ive had this thought alot in my mind tbh. a f2p soulwar'd pure or even just a normal pure with 99 str/31 pray will usually own a 99 ranger at 70ish combat, give or take a few. but ive also seen many 95+ ranged people, usually pures, own others with constant 150+ even w/o prayer. i'd say it really depends on which you prefer, since in the end, most hits are just luck, aka the dice roll

 

I'm a f2p cracker sooo... I'd say 99 range with 1 prayer. Ownage.

 

99str if p2p though

 

depends on weither ur 1 def or not,

1 def pures= 99 str
70+ def= range

 

F2p str 1 pray
p2p range 44 pray

 

max main!

na, i'd go with strength and 52 prayer with 75 attack.

Great feedback guys! It looks like most of us can actually relate when its down to PK.

Lets say if I were to Range in F2p, is 1 pray the way to go? or is 44 pray better, with the additional CB levels in mind...?
