Will be interesting. I voted for SKT T1 to win. I'm not exactly sure on who's the powerhouses due to me being a a new player.

Edit: ment to say FNC Sad FNC isn't playing today, wanted to see them play ohwell, think they'll take the whole tournament.


DAMN, SKT VS BKT was the most fun game I've ever watched, faker and marin solokilling their laneopponents, marin going first item mejaj's on RUMBLE, and bengi just yawning after they won the game. Incredible. Faker showing no fear whatsoever.

 

WOOO! OG beating LGD. Such a good game and great performance from OG.

 

So many unexpected wins from the games so far... It's really turning out to be a good watch.

Overall I think FNC will take it. Looks like they no longer have problems in the early game which kept them back before.

 

I dunno why Flash Wolves over KOO is such a big surprise, everyone who watched LMS knew they were going to come out flying and would be a solid contender.


Now, the only thing that this makes me think about is whether CLG can do the same...

 

Already put $50 down on SKT to take it all the way. Two in a row for sure.

 

I cannot believe LGD lost to OG.

 

Calling the final. SKT vs FNC. Tsm won't even get out of group stages and CLG will give false hope then finish 5th.

 

Surprised at LGD's weak showing against KT. People were saying they were contenders but after 2 weak performances in a row I'm almost sure now SKT will take it.

TSM looking okay against Origen atm, but we will see how this one plays out, Origen is known for good mid-game macro play so let's see if that plays into their favour.

 

LGD Gaming's performances have been horrendous. It's disappointing to see that they were considered a contender for winning worlds.

I feel like it will be SKT that takes the title, but I'm really hoping FNC will make them work hard for it.

TSM are sucking so hard, santorin is useless, whole team falls apart if bjergsen dosent go like 5-0 in 10mins

 

Who would have expected c9 to 2-0 their group after their performance during the LCS.

 

Midlaner focused in a mid utility meta. Doesn't work.

Spoken like a true Eu kid... Guessing you didnt watch much na lcs. C9 had a horrendous early start to lcs but finished extremely strong. I personally am not surprised but i follow c9. Go back and watch the three opponents before worlds c9 faced and you will see the improvement. They lacked shot calling and confidence. The grit from going down twice 0/2and coming back to win is huge. They are out rotating Asian teams and playing to the strength of each individual game. Watch how they completely play away from Gnar in the IG game for the first 30 minutes of the game. Itl give you a little insight to the pure play calling from hai. Who by the way was warming a seat at the start of this lcs. I also think sneaky is incredibly under-rated

Glad Western teams have SLAPPED some serious Asian contenders around. I feel like its rattled the confidence of the mid tier Asian teams. God help anyone running into Skt though.
