How many bots in this?

You can easily run 8 with them. Maybe you can push it to around 14.

 

It also depends on your script. I have a core 2 duo desktop station with 4gb and that runs 2 intensive script (tab maker with teleport). But I could run 5 heavy duty spamming script (with login and switch world...etc) with the same computer.

 

Apparently it runs 8-9. I've spoken with lillie about it.

Obviously with different scripts the outcome would be different.

Well whats good on 100USD monthly? :/ If you count time you spent on setting up scripts in Simba, then you can just go to mc ,take a job there and you will have same money in 2-3days.

The best thing would be to try ,noone can clearly say how many ,cause it all depends on script ,on fps etc... ,but as I found out main problem is CPU ,not ram , ram does not even costs much in these times, but I would be so optimistic ,becaue according to http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html ,it has 3,274points ,which is nearly same as CPU in my notebook (i5-2410M - 3,363points) and I can run only 5 Simbas on it without lagging (aslo using Intel Turbo Boost technology,which CPUs in servers probably does not have) ,so I would say maximally 5 without lagging.

 

That has too little RAM for a server. The specs are similar to my PC, which can run about 10 bots at the most.

 

Idk I have an i7 and 8gb ram, only can run 7. (And this lags hard)

Dedicated servers can go up to Dual CPU, each CPU with 6 cores and HT... and up to 48GB RAM. (What I have to offer, there are 256GB RAM servers and 48 core servers around in the internet)

 

Depends if this processor has ht. I would say maybe 5-8 simbas max. An i7 2600k overclocked to 4.5ghz can only run 10 soduku bots (on fast). Just to give an example. Unfortunately with Simba you can't run nearly as many as other bots. Before bot nuke my old amd quads 955 be at 3.6-3.9ghz could run 24-28 rsbuddys just fine.

 

I don't think you'll find a script at the moment that can run for 12 hours without failing. And a script that makes 300K/hr on a low leveled account? good luck? :/

Do you even know what the purpose of the servers are for? Botting. Using 24gb servers to bot on is retarded. That means if one of your servers has technical difficulties or lags and shuts all the bots down you have 48 bots with downtime. The more servers the better imo (within reason). More servers = less bots effected by downtime if anything happens to one of your servers. Of course the con is you would be paying slightly more.

 

i7 2700k is 4 cores, 8 threads .

Xeons are often identical with their consumer counter parts just with a lower or similar clock speed, a much higher cache and a much heftier price tag. For the price of a xeon you could stack yourself up with several consumer counter parts, which will provide almost double the power for the same price. Botting in no way requires a xeon and if you do have xeon for botting, you're a complete idiot since it's a way of money. They're just very energy efficient and you don't need that. Xeons are also optimised for multiprocessor environments, now I doubt you'll be using muliple xeon chips.

In fact AMD CPUs are better for gaming/botting. Opteron's would be best for hosted servers made for gold farming

 

Depends on the script if you're going to be using Simba. As some scripts are more resource dependent that others and also depends on efficiency within the scripts code.

To be honest, no one can tell you exactly how many you could run as there are too many variables that affect CPU/RAM usage.

All I can say is experiment and see how many the computer can handle.
