Umm, first of all you are talking about your MOTHERBOARD doesn't support over 8gb. Windows 7 supports way more RAM than 8gb..... as long as you have the ultimate version.

also i have an ati radeon hd 5870 so 1gb of GDDR5 dedicated graphics memory and 4gb total graphics memory available....

I think when someone told him it stands for Random Access Memory he thought that the "Memory" on his eX-Hardrive is "Random" cause he doesn't know what the fuck its there for and he can "Access" it by double clicking on it.
