How long will Runescape last

Well not very long since i got my new ddosing toy, jks

I say at the rate their going i give it 5 years.
They would need to start from complete scratch to keep up with games like WoW

Jagex said they won't be making a RS3... I wish they would have stayed less pubilc

 

I'm going to say... 10 years. With all bots and things people will start to quit.

 

6 or 7 years is a heck of a long time for an MMORPG to be running, can't hardly call that a faliure can we? and besides

- Jagex has always been stupid and had gay updates + bad customer service
- membership is going up, its way more popular than it was 2 years ago
- everyone has been turning to warcraft since wow came out

runescape and jagex are here to stay for a long time, or at least until Andrew Gower finally gets caught fucking a penguin

 

Well if the story is true that the world will end on 12/21/2012 then that's when RuneScape will end.

 

i give it another 10-20 years, but i really hope it dont end for all the work ive put into it :\

 

I think that it will last until less people start to play it, they will shut down the servers, just like they did with RSC.

 

hmmm, should last fro another 5 years or so... Besides... Runescap will be runnign still just no one will play as much lol

I'de say another 5 years. Nothing lasts forever. Imo, I think that little fagots 7-10 year olds will just invade all of p2p and just take over causing all the good players to leave, thus resulting in jagex not giving a crap and just say f it and shut down all rs lol yep, that's whatll happen bet anyone 100M :lol:

 

I believe there will be a third Runescape. When Bill Gates brings out the next generation in PC there will be room for expansion. I am hoping to stay until then.

 

until regular platform video games become amazing, after that i doubt rs2 will be able to survive, of course i'm sure there will be rs3 and rs4 and maybe even farther then that.

 

with all the autoers the economy is gonna all fuck up lol, this gonna make them lose members

 

oh yea, a friends coison works for them, he is designing a new game as we speak. Its like runescape but different skills and its robots, so theres gonna be guns and stuff in it

 

it'll end in the next few years when the updates start sucking (more than they already do) and better games come out

 

i would say it would last mayb another 5-10 years.

 

With the millions they make, it's hard to see that it will go down anytime soon, but if they are sued or anything it could take them right out. I mean like just if some dumb person suicides over RS and the parents decide to sue and it actually works.

 

idk. id give it about 10 years because they really are babying the younger players. they find new things too inapropriate and eventually the older players will just quit. and younger players are happy with free version so runescape is going to have to be abandoned. but Jagex will probably make a new game similar and its going to be the same thing over again

 

I give it another 4 - 5 years.

They have shit customer service.
They ban way to many well known accs
They're taking real world trading hard.
