How long does a nonmember recovery quest take?

I have a member account and last week I recovered and got overnight. I traded for an account on sythe, and later that day it came up locked. The person who gave it to me filled out the form (which I'm positive he filled out completely) and its been about a day and a half. Does jagex always give members first priority? I could be waiting for weeks until there are no member appeals. There is also no way I could sign up for membership to make it go faster =@

*edit* I've only used 2 types of memberships a game card and a credit subscription and neither let you sign up while the account is locked, is there a way to like "gift" a membership?

    Members - upto 24 hours .
    f2p - ???

However last week i've recovered my old forgotten pker and the request took ~ 4days

If you can't provide enough info you will only be able to recover in 3 months (if it's locked , what will happen if you provide not enough info)

Normally F2p takes around 2-5 days, but if someone is fighting you to recover the account, I may take a very long time.
