    How is it...
    That people have 1080p versions of a movie that hasnt even hit theaters yet? I'm watching stand up guys in 1080p when its not set to release in theaters until February 1st...

    how do people get them?

    How is it...
    Quite often, people make copy's of the DVD Screeners designed to be shown to award ceremony nominations, as well as people ripping the hard drive the films come in to the cinema on. If the title includes DVD SCR it is generally a screener version.

    How is it...
    DIVX has a video converter that can let you change movies from 480 > 720 > 1080.
