How has Sythe survived?

Just wondering how Sythe.org has lasted this long?

And other sites like 'gold4rs' and 'USFine'

How come they haven't been brought down, or have Jagex no rights to

Just curious of the matter at hand..

 

Because sythe aint doing anything illegal? Why would it be brought down?

 

lol theirs not trade mark or copyright infringment going on at sythe... its only a forum most things that get shut dwn are p servers

 

I would Imagine there would be some sort of action that Jagex could take?

I'm just curios because I don't want anything like that to happen to my site (BobbaMarket)

 

Sythe is here to stay. We aren't doing anything illegal.

 

Jagex has no jurisdiction outside of RuneScape.com, Jagex.com and FunOrb.com. Sythe.org isn't breaking any laws and thus cannot be shut down by anyone other than the website owner.

That was a good place for "maplestory" hacks until, NEXON put a copyright thingy on it, and they had to close it down or face fines.

Actually Jagex has jurisdiction on any site infringing their copyright. This site just isn't one of them.

There's no real life law disallowing the sale of virtual good from a game, til there is one, this site will stay up.

Nexon scares me. They take things god damn seriously. Their shutdown letters, from what I've seen, are no game >_>.

 

yea i used to think that and tbh i still dont get it we are breaking the rules of the game so the only thing they can rlly do is ban us however if someone loses money outside of runescape jagex doesnt wana get involved.so if they get in it they hafta stay in it. hope that clears something up. =0

 

Sythe.org like others have said isn't doing anything illegal. Selling RuneScape gold is IN FACT illegal. You don't own the RuneScape gold, therefore it's illegal to attempt to sell it. It isn't however illegal to give the RuneScape gold away, but charge a fee for transferring it or for the time it took you to accumulate it. That is what we are doing, don't confuse the two

Sythe is the best, that's why it's still around. Don't question it, just accept it and embrace it.

 

Unlike other sites, Sythe isn't ran by a bunch of idiots who don't know what they're doing.

 

I'd beg to differ, thats what the majority of sythe's staff is, ignorant children who don't know what they're doing.

 

If that were the case, this site would be epicly failing...which it isn't.

 

Are you stupid? The staff is here better than most Cheating sites I've seen and been on,If jagex ever did try too find something too bring sythe.org,Sythe would put up a hell of a fight too keep this site going strong.
