how does purchasing accounts work w/ the changes to jagex accounts?

It seems like for the most part people still have a big stock of 'non jagex accounts' so you can simply buy and add them.

1. is this safe (specifically to add them to your own jagex acc)

2. does this change the chance of the acc being recovered? I'd assume these pre made for sale accs are low recovery risk as if someone scam quits and recovers them they'd be hard to resell- but just for curiosity sake.

3. what happens when the supply of non jagex acc linked accs dries up?

4. has there ever been a large prebuilt acc seller that has scam quit and mass recovered a bunch of accs?

the context here is mainly aimed at specifically acc sellers for hcim accs, but also does apply a bit more widely.

1. Yes it is safe to add a Non-Jag account to your own.

2. Once you turn a Non-Jag Account into a Jag-Account, it can no longer be manually recoverable.

3. Then you would be dealing with a market of Jag-Accounts. These would be Jag-Accounts with no other accounts attached to it.

4. Not to my knowledge.

 

1: rwt bans are jagex acc wide, you can get rwt bans on bought accs for buying it
2: imported legacy accs can be recovered, just about as easy as old legacy ones. The process is a bit more annoying
3: eventually all accscon the market will be only jagex accs

Runemetrix is the biggest one in recent years I can think of
