How do you want to die?

Beside someone famous.

 

Seems to be a common answer. But everyone dies alone.

I've revised my answer; I'd either like to go in bed, at peace with myself, meaning that I have no regrets and am proud of everything I did in life. Or, I'd like to die pumped full of adrenaline, but in the same fashion as my first comment, as in skydiving or jumping off a huge cliff on skis; but once again with no regrets.

It's really a tough question. The two most popular answers seem to be "In bed, with my family, and asleep with no pain," and "doing something heroic". Both of them are unlikely in any case. Dying without pain, by natural causes with no pain, and asleep, with your family there, is somewhat of a rarity. So is doing heroic stuff when your 80, unless you mean you plan to join the forces and die young purposefully?

Each to his own though, and you're all entitled to your opinions, some of which intrigue me. Some people have a very interesting concept of a noble death, and its cool to here from you all. Indirectly this is quite a personal question so if you decide not to share its cool; not everyone likes to say "I am going to cut my wrists" etc., but if you do share, I won't judge you; its your life and if that's how you want to die, then its not my business to judge. I would want to die hallucinating about sleeping with a really hot celebrity. No joke. Either that, or saving someone.

In my sleep. It's quite peaceful when you think about it. You go to sleep and you never wake up. Also, you get to remain in the bliss of your dreams for eternity.

I don't intend to die. Biological immortality via gene therapies is the road for me, so no thanks to old age and slow crippling existence - I'll stay alive for as long as I wish.

I really would like to die while asleep, and i'd prefer not to die until i'm at least 80 years of age :x

the idea of living in this world longer than normal sounds like hell to me, this place is too dumb to live in forever.

 

Who says that death is painful, you could be healthy in any other way besides old age.Me, I want to go down wide awake, looking at the beach one last time, watching my life one last time before my eyes. Who knows where it goes from there.

I want to die painlessly obviously. The most painless would probably be going to bed and not waking up.
