How Do You Predict Rain?

Yep, it's monsoon season again in Korea...
During the summer, we get a shitload of rain. Last year, it caused a couple of landslides in my area.

So what methods do you know to predict rain?
Today, I knew that a sudden downpour was coming in less than 30 seconds when it suddenly got very windy and I heard thunder.
Thunder occurs when two clouds crash, right?

There's that and sometimes, no matter what the weather forecast says, I know that it's going to rain because the back of my neck starts to hurt.

Rain Dance All Day

 

Rain clouds usually is an indicator it will rain where I'm from

 

I live on the outskirts of the city, cows most ALWAYS lay down before before it starts raining.. long before you can smell it. Its very strange but is nearly always right. I live in texas.. while we dont have monsoons we have tons of tornadoes and notoriously unpredictable weather.. honestly seeing if the cows are laying down is more reliable than our weatherman.

 

Smell the rain/ weather.com/ when it storms I get a small headache because of the pressure.

 

Generally looking outside eh.

Not too worried to predict the weather.

If it rains, it rains. If it doesn't, it doesn't.

There isn't any good way to predict rain, or we would all know it and be able to predict it
But cows lie down before rain to keep the ground they're lying on dry. Perhaps you should get a cow?

 

Generally rain isn't enough of a deal for me to worry about it - not as if I ever go outside anyways.

 

The clouds usually look all freaky. Also, you can watch the news or listen to the news on the radio and they'll usually know.

 

I always can tell just from the color of the sky looking off and the clouds just looking more dark.

 

I fly up to the sky and check out the clouds.
