When a coincident happens to you, What are your very first thoughts? How do you percieve them? How do you think humans as a whole see coincident's?

Some believe our lives are predetermined which poses an interesting question: what would be the point of living if everything was already preset?
-I say to experience what is planned...if it is that way.

Coincidences, I believe, is serendipity at play in other words that person happens to be in the right place at the right time for that particular set of circumstances to happen to them. I believe very much in serendipity as it has happened to me several times and I know other people who this has happened to as well.”

What about astrology? Does the alignment of certain planets at the time of our birth determine the shape of our lives?

Michele Finey is a qualified astrologer, writer, healer and hypnotherapist. She is from Celestial Insight in Melbourne and she says:

“Most astrologers, myself included, are of the view that fate and freewill are intertwined. An astrology chart is a symbolic picture of our potential, but events and free will also shape our destiny. We can learn a lot about a person from their birth chart, but there is a lot we cannot know too, such as one's level of consciousness. No, we should not wait for fate. We should endeavour to develop our consciousness as much as we can. Astrology is generally (and wrongly) perceived by the public as being associated with fate. We can and do choose the manner in which we express our symbolic potential. As a hypnotherapist, I see people can and do change their lives. This is magical on the one hand, but also quite natural as well. We are not governed by planets, they are not forces that direct or pre-determine our actions, but they symbolise each moment of time, and each moment of time is where we can manifest our potential. This is part of the creative universal principle.”

You should have heard the astrologists on the other night. They determine royal weddings economic, wars, environmental related issues.. it's crazy

This makes me laugh. Sheep will believe anything.

I like to believe it this way: There are no coincidences, only illusions of them. Everything is purely statistical.

Astrology is like quack medicine, it has never done anything. In fact I bet I could find more predictions in the book Moby Dick. The fact is that vague generalities that are divined through some mystical belief in the stars is silly nonsense. Just like telekinesis, just like shamanism, just like all of this mumbo jumbo that people try to pass off as fact when it has all be disproved time and time again. Sadly people don't rely on fact anymore, but believe anything if it sounds interesting. There is no standard of proof for people anymore thanks to the internet. They will believe whatever they read or see on YouTube.

Now please, let me get back to my Illuma..... My business.

like dejavu? i think its so weird when that happens

Totally because what she was suggesting didn't have any link to the royal weddings or natural disasters like the San Francisco, Chile, Japan, or the upcoming economic crisis. The list goes on. Lol it's funny how you have no idea how it works xD Learn before you criticize. Oh, and I learned about Psychokinesis through Hinduism. Not the internet. Stop assuming things bro.
Didn't fall for Kony2012 (;

EDIT: Deja Vu just means you had a dream about exactly what had happened. (Kind of like seeing into the future but you wont remember until that moment when you're like LOL DEJA VU [but there's a way to remember :)])

China isn't going to share this technology so don't go saying why hasn't the world changed, dipshit. and our government wouldn't even tell us.

Man, I hate it when this stuff happens. I always think to myself "this is so messed up", I always just think it myself it was suppose to happen so let life run its course.

If anything, coincidences just make me feel insignificant and a part of a larger whole, where my actions mean nothing.

There have been ridiculous coincidences and there will continue to be statistical freaks. I just hate it when the smallest coincidence triggers people to assume some stupid shit.

Not really. My grandmother being an astrologist, I know that it's more about fancy graphs and computer screens than accurate predictions. For example she predicted an economic crisis in march, but nothing happened.
