How do you get 2def?

Im always surprised that so many pure get accidently Defence.

How did you get defence by mistake?

 

I have no clue but many either:
Use a weapon that has an aggressive stance then they switch to a weapon with a controlled stance.
They use autocast with defence on.
Dungeoneering and forgetting to turn exp off.

 

i put my knifes on longrange by accident the night before and left them like a idiot

 

they are MANY options that can make you get a level 2, just when you switch from a dagger to whip depending on styles it might come to shared XP, when you use range or mage defence mode on, Dung with shared xp on, using a Summoning with defence (Thats stupid) or making a quest that you thought it didn't give deff xp or you just checked and didn't see...theres alots of other choices lol

 

Equipping a staff after death got me.

 

It's usually switching to different weapons and the attack styles get all confused and they wind up on defensive/controlled. Either that or defensive training with ranged/magic.

 

I remember that I told somone that I dare them to kill few crabs with a bronze spear until they got 2 def. Was funny tbh.

 

Quests

 

That's actually very incorrect. I can guarantee you next to none get defence experience on accident via quests. Pures complete very specific quests for very specific purposes. You aren't going to overlook that it gives you defence XP if you're planning on being a 1 defence pure.

The most common way, like others have already stated, is switching weapons and the attack modes switch as well without a user realizing/remembering.

 

Personally I think that to do it you have to be part of some form of glitch

EXTREMELY STUPID.

 

Dungeoneering is probably the biggest/most recent factor.

Many skillers and pures were ruined during the first few days when xp share didn't really work like it should have.

Go to youtube, search "Ruining 1 def pures" and watch...

Sometimes how it happens with butterfly nets/spears ect.

 

You select "Defensive mode"

Just using a weapon in Dung. puts it into defense mode.
