    How do you find new music?
    Post how you come across different bands/genres.

    I personally am really grateful to have friends who like the same type of music I do, so I get a lot of music from them and a couple of music websites.

    Friends, Facebook, Friends, Twitter, Friends, Concerts/Shows, Friends, Band Members I know, Friends.

    Oh, and my Friends.

    Friends??? What are they??

    I usually get mine off friends, forums or music blog sites. I can link you to some good Hip Hop blogs if you want.

    How do you find new music?
    I get mine from YouTube.
    I always put in a band I like, and just view through all the video's that are related. This way I came across so many bands, it's just awesome :p

    How do you find new music?
    People have distros set up at most of the shows i attend/play, and a lot of vinyl circulates. I usually make a blind purchase or two when i can. Beyond that- the internet of course.

    Hardly anyone I know here listens to Metal. And if they do I've heard of everything they listen to already..

    I have several websites, used to go to shows, friends, or you can mix two genres and search on youtube.
