How do you feel about AI's being created?

It's kind of scary how more and more AI's are being created, want to see what you guys think about it.

 

Why is that scary? Is a computer playing chess scary to you?

 

They load the AI's with pretty much the internet, what if for some reason in the future they decide to turn against humans, anythings possible nowadays.

 

Many things humans created can be negative (Drugs/weapons/society) , i guess Ai's are just a level higher. If we do it right i guess it will not happen.

 

Source? What AIs are being loaded with "the internet"? Who's "they"? What makes you think that AI exists with the ability to make its own independent choices?

Joe Rogans podcast with Elon Musk is all I gotta say really. If you take the time and watch it on youtube its actually quite frightening how truthful it is but it may all work out in our favor who knows!?!? The world may never!

Very True, I have not done much of my own research maybe I shall.

 

In the next 50 years something big will come out of it, but we will all be old so whatever

 

I still think we are a long ways off from having anything to worry about in terms of AI replacing humans etc or reducing the quality of human services. As It is still a very new technology and even though we have made great advancements, I find it very hard to believe our governments etc, would be inclined to use AI in the service form if it could not meet a standard of work. As all workplaces have a scope of practice.

Outside of the workforce and that "theory", I do find AI to be super interesting and think it actually will be better for the world and our economies if we keep improving them, outside of the use for war. Due to the rather large increase there would be in that individual market, but it is close to impossible to dictate how all other markets would be effected if one becomes more integrated with AI.

 

There's nothing to be scared of. Well, I mean, it's only natural to be afraid of the unknown, indefinite things like future and inventions that can be perverted. However, the further goes the scientific researches, the better, I guess. It's simply more interesting this way =)

Humans will be humans, we are really very unique super beings ourselves. The thing that scares me about the AI technology is the fact that they are trying to make AI technology which they can develop learning characteristics. I have looked up many AI chats online and have seen some pretty scary stuff about AI's talking some weird stuff about taking over the world and all that, but it's not because they learned it from reliable information or it's their own thought - it is probably just the AI's mimicking and picking up on things that made it say what it said.

I don't know though, I don't know how these work, but some of those chats they have sure makes it seem like the AI is thinking for itself about some crazy shit against humans lol
