    This is exactly correct, go to the 'Filter' drop-down menu at the top (by File, Edit, etc.), go to the 'Render' drop-down menu inside the 'Filter' drop-down menu, and then select 'Lens Flare' inside the 'Render' drop-down menu. The 'Lens Flare' you are looking for in the 'Lens Flare' pop-up you have created is the '50-300mm Zoom'. There are two other options that look similar to this one with a red light ('35mm Prime' and the 'Movie Prime') as well as one other option with a whiter/less red light ('105mm Prime'). The 'Brightness' bar will help you choose how bright/large/etc. you would like your 'Lens Flare' to be (left = less bright/large/etc., right = more bright/large/etc.).
