how do u determine a pin is working

without using it?

 

As far as I know, you're supposed to enter the number into the website. If it's fake, then it'll say "Invalid Pin". If it's valid, then the members will be credited into your RuneScape account.

If I'm wrong and there is another method, feel free to correct me

 

OP means confirming whether it's a valid PIN or not without redeeming it.

On topic: I'm not so sure. You should try redeeming a PIN and see if you get a 'Are you sure you want to redeem it?' screen.

I don't think there is a confirmation screen. I'm pretty sure these guys are confusing this "confirmation screen" with the place you're supposed to enter in your phone number.

I'm fairly positive that once you hit redeem it automatically credits it to your account.

I'm not a dumbass. It's been a while since I've redeemed a PIN so I wasn't sure if there was a confirmation screen after you gave your PIN.

And looks like you don't get a confirmation screen after all...Still. At least you know that you can't check if it's valid without redeeming it.

 

Mine does too, where it says Accept Terms on the bottom....... so Idk why it doesnt work for them that way.

 

Maybe if you try to redeem it after changing your account location, for example if you buy a UK pin try redeeming it in Canada or something?

Well Im not entirely sure if you use the PIN on the second page but I reckon;

: You enter PIN, Click GO/Whatever (Green Button) And on the second page it says your RuneScape ID and the PIN used. That means it's successfully redeemed. After that page I think you can click cancel or redeem. That way you can determine whether the PIN is legit or not.

so yea...i read some responses thought i was gonna get confirmation screen, didnt, and wasted a pin, very frusterating


i need a way to figure out ifmypins r legit... any1 got a way?

if i try to redeem from wrong country will it give me a specialized message or the same old 'invalid payment window for pin' because then i would b getting mixed up with pins limited by the 3acc per phone limit

tried to x it real fast, too late

 

If it's of any value, I'm quite sure that I went through a confirmation screen as well before being able to redeem my pin.
