How do power bands work

I remember going to the fair and they had a little power band display thing where you can test it out, I tried it and it worked, I'm wondering how does it work or is it just a placebo.

It's the placebo effect. I had them try it on me and if you go in believing that it may work it will. Then when you do it again and you are just like 'I want to try this again.' and come in thinking it's a hoax it won't work. It's snake-oil in bracelet form, it'll regrow your hair, help you sleep better, increase your intelligence, and make your wallet feel a little lighter. Haha.

 

They take your money out of your pocket - Haha, no these things don't work though. Still cool to wear though. Now they have different color ones and even Monster Energy ones.

 

its fake its like saying sea sickness pills work. if you make your body believe it then it will respond in that manor

i dont think they work unless your mind makes it seem like it does...but i just like wearing them for fun

 

They're only useful if you want to look edgy/cool/stupid.

 

They are fake bro. Don't listen to what anyone says they probably made you balance your arms and tryed to pull one down to see if you would fall. It's bs. But its cool to wear i guess. Cost way to much though.
