How do i safely purchase a RS acc?

 

I have yet to do this but this topic applies to me. I too have been interested in purchasing an account from A Sythe member. I have looked into it a bit, what I've retained from the information I've read is that while purchasing an account a few ways to prevent being scammed are; buying from a verified user, buy from users with lots of vouches and use a middle man to monitor the trade.

I've read a bit into this if you have any questions i can try to answer them.

 

Runescape accounts are a hard thing to trade. They are almost always recoverable by their original owners and this makes it very hard to know if your runescape account is worth working on or will it be recovered. I recommend buying from a reputable sythe member with plenty of vouches that pertain to accounts and the price range of the trade. For example just because someone has 40 vouches if they're all worth 5 dollars and you're giving him 100 that doesn't ensure you'll be safe. So try and weigh the vouches vs what you're buying. Also ensure when you're buying the account you receive as many details as possible in the event you need to recover it later on if its compromised. Middle mans are a nice precaution but when it comes to accounts if the owner really wants to just recover it back he will regardless of a middleman.

 

There is no way to safely purchase one. I mean you can buy one easily off a trusted user on here, the main problem is ensure it never gets recovered, which you can't really do. The best thing to do is just find the most trustworthy user you can and do the trade with them. Although anyone can scam.

 

The only way you can is by paying top dollar from a highly trusted member.

They're always recoverable.

 

^^ Agreed, also get the account in your email, will also liken the chances of the first user of the account less of chances to get the account back.
+ Wouldent suggest buying off people with less that 25-50 vouches to stay %100 safe.

 

Use a trusted middleman or an omm, Just remember that accounts are ALWAYS recoverable doesn't matter if a week or 6 months down the road. Always can be recovered.

 

Just make sure that the account NEVER HAD JAG SET because that is the #1 way peope can recover mm's and OMM's can't do anything to stop it. so that would be my thing, make sure he has ALOT of vouches etc.

 

Jag being set doesn't really matter because if someone is going to recover an account they can do it anyways, as long as they are the original owner.

 

All accounts can be recovered. The risk will always be there. You're better off just botting an account yourself.

 

As everyone has already said they are always recoverable so best thing to do is buy from a sythe member who is highly trusted(OMM ect) or someone who has sold multiple runescape accounts with alot of vouches.

 

There's no guarantees when buying an account, the only thing I can recommend is buying from trusted users.
