How do I prevent accounts I sell from getting locked?

Currently in a situation where an account I sold got locked, and I don't want this to happen again, is there anyway to prevent this? The person I sold this account is from another country.

 

Email Jamflex explaining you're moving country, and tell them to expect it. (upon attemtping to unlock)

 

Dont sell to people in other countries.. or notify them that the account IP will be changing

 

If they live in another Country, the account will be locked because of security reasons. Shouldn't happen again if they unlock it.

 

Even if it does, you can just simply have it unlocked. But as others above mentioned, if they're in the same country it's usually fine.

Notifying them usually does nothing, as it's an automated process that they likely will not remove after being told. Just react by ticketing if/when it gets locked, and you should be fine. Locks usually happen when the original owner claims it got hacked, so unless you do that, it usually won't get locked. Never know tho

 

have you had it unlocked and the customer try logging in again?

 

I got unlocked within 20 minutes of it being locked, thanks for the responses everybody, I just don't want it to happen again.

 

How long after the sale was it locked? Usually an account will get locked once in a blue moon after a sale/someone else logs on but it's no indication that it will happen again.

 

Go on a VPN from the country the buyer is in, acc gets locked, unlock it, and it wont get locked again, dont know how long it takes for it to get locked, but it might work.

 

No idea why people are saying that the account "will" be locked if the buyer is from a different country. I've sold a fair few, and all except one to people who live overseas somewhere I think. No locks/bans.
