i need to know how to get rune gloves without getting stupid 2k def xp from a quest which is required to do in order for me to do Lumbridge sage..

can someone help??

also i cant do sir amik varze as i am a 20 Def pure

Well your not gonna get rune gloves without any def, cuz it's either nature spirit or heroes quest.

why didnt you get 20 def from the quests? i think thats how you could have done it

22 defence won't make that much difference in your ability to PK, as far as I know. It depends if rune gloves are more valuable to you than being free of a combat level.

 

hmm your right.. but im assuming 2k xp+ 20 def is 22 def and when i checked its more like 24-26ish which is bs and thats 2 cmb levels..

 

That's what you get for not researching the quest xp. 22 def is hardly un-pure, up to 25 is still considered an initiate pure. Beyond that you may aswell get 30 for proselyte, you'll have a hard time getting accepted into pure clans though.

btw can someone check what my def level would be if i got 2k xp from 20 def..

you might be thinking rune gauntlets? anyone can get them, but they must be charged using fist of guthix points.

You'll be 22def.

 

Quests will get you def so I suggest just doing them and getting 25 def.

For Level 24, you need 2,558 XP
For Level 23, you need 1,821 XP

This is from the very exact point of 20 Defence. You will be 23.

 

I say just go without them, unless you want the CB levels..which 2 for a pure is alot infact..

 

Just leave it, and stick to addy gloves.
+1 Strength Bonus isn't really worth 2 levels. :/
