How did you start playing RS?

My friend told me about it..I started when I was 9 or 10

 

I was in the 7th grade and my friend IRL starts talking to me on yahoo messenger about this great time killer. So he links me to RuneScape and I've been hooked till last summer. Now I skill for others and it's not too bad.

Started way back on RS classic, I got bored one day looking for a game and found RS. Haven't stopped playing it even since

 

My friend late 04 told me about it and since everyone in my class played ....I joined :]

 

I was 10 when i started.
found out about it by a friend

 

well my mate told me and i tryed thort was shit, month later he came around and showed me how to play, liked it then other mates played and it was like a contest hu could get the richest and highest total level, been on and off since started jst before yoyos were given out. wasted abit much time on this game. =/

 

well i was first introduced to rs by a friend of mine, at first i thought it was hell bad and didnt play for a few days later cause i was so epicly bored i decided to giv it a go didnt really get right into until my friends started playin again... lols this was when i was 11 yrs old nearly 12 and i been on and off payin for 5-6 yrs now lol currently bottin and enjoyin it alot even tho im not actually playin, just like the fact of havin an awesome acc lol

 

Some guys talked about it in boyscouts in 7th grade.

 

I started when I was in Grade 5 and I am in Grade 11 now but I haven't properly played Runescape in 2-3 years.

 

I once played Diablo, when i was 13. I thought that game was really shit.
Then my friend was like "dude, play Runescape, its 100x better than diablo" then i was like "pass, diablo is heaps shit, and you guys all thought that was good".
They kept nagging me to play for like, 2 months.
So, one day i went over to my friends house and he showed me it, and i thought it was so cool that you could talk to people. I had never used the internet other than for school at that point in time.
Like no shit, i didn't even have msn. I didn't care about computers.
So i was like "OMG! Is that a real person playing!?!? Say 'hi' to them!?! OMG thats so cool!!"
So, i started playing, as soon as i got out of tutorial island, i talked to an NPC, a 'level 1 man' or whatever level they are. I thought that was a player, and got really really shitty when he wouldn't talk back to me. Then a player named 'Wattsti' walked past me, laughed at me, then gave me full iron. Which i thought was the coolest thing ever.
Thats how i started.

 

I was 10. My stupid ass brother introduced me to that game after I quit another online game. I still hate him for it. I am unable to quit playing.

 

It was the end of 2005 and I was bored shitless. I decided to make an account. Heaps of guys I knew in 2006 were into it so I kept going. Quit 2009. Big waste of my time but if it was the same as when I started, I think I'd still be playing it.

 

Started in 7th grade when my friend @ school was like yo, look @ this game.

God dammit I'm almost 19 now fucking A.

 

well i started when my cousin showed me it a thought it was worth a try i then quit about a week later and went back when i heard a few ppl at school talk about it

 

Friend showed it to me during RSC. Had a yellow party hat during duel arena days valued around 25m then. After that pure got banned i quit

 

What other game did you play?

 

Well, i NEVER used to go on my computer, i used to be active palying football, rugby, then my friend came over raving about the game "runescape" i was like wtf is runescape!
He cept on raving so i said ok ill give it ago...
He logged in saying look away!!! i was like i doubt ill play it dw!
Then my life changed... I got addicted! i was on it 24/7 and never used to go out.. I have now been playing for 6 years pretty much solid lmfao!

 

An old friend of mine told me to try it been playing ever sence

 

Every kid in my school was talking about it, and played it, so i was like why not, and i have been playing on an off now.
