How DID Jojo3000 lure?

As far as I'm aware he would show people like 500M cash, drop it then alch something worth over 10k.. Drop that then pick up his cash so they thought it was 500M.

 

We're making progress, but that's not all of it yet :laugh:

 

What's the big secret? What he did was show them shitload of money, he would tell them he's done with runescape, teleport with them to varrock, he would say too many nerds are here so he would make the person come with him into the bar, he would then show him his inventory of what he was dropping... Then he would go, and actually drop his cash pile ranging from 50m-1b, the person would think he actually dropped it, he would then alch an item worth over 10k, go in, pick up his pile, drop the 10k or so, person would think that theres 50M on floor, walk in, he would/his friend barrage/dds, and gf. I knew jojo back in the day on my pures who helped him snipe the people. Why be such douchebags and say 'i no buttt i w0nt say it cuz its secretz' ... Hope this helped.

 

Lolol, that's basically what everyone's said, I'm talking about how he got the people to originally come with him and it wasn't the "I'm done with Runescape" story, not near the end of his career anyway.

 

That's how my friends and I did it, we usually got flamed for it though by the person who died.

Jojo3000 was a friend of mine in game and he used rs cheating sites and lured with people on them just like sythe. I lured with him twice and i was the killer (along with many others) his story was that he had made 1000M+ in the day eariler on. Of course everyone questioned it and asked how. Jojo then began to tell the players about a bug in the game that changed everything. "A Bugged World" While wearing partyhats the person believed jojo 9/10 times because of what he was wearing. He said that the jolly bar has been bugged but only in the cirtain world. This is where i though it was genius. He had the killer drop 10k in a different world and then got the victum to world hop to the world that was apparently "bugged". Aware that the world was bugged the person logs in seeing a drop of cash in level 2 wildy. Thus they run in and go for it expecting a fortune. This is what ive been told countless times buy all the people i used to kill with. I myself never asked jojo to confirm so whether this is 100% true idk

he alched something (the part i dont really understand because people should be able to see him alching. Maybe he ran north out of the screen to alch real quick)

he ran in to the wild and dropped the money made from the alch.

then he ran back out of wildy and picked up the previously mentioned huge cash pile.

I used to do the jojo3000 lure back in the day is here is what you do.

1. Get 2 people or more.
2. 1 person finds a rich person of the same cb level as there friend.
3. Then you say hey my friend is quitting rs he's dropping 500m.
4. so then you tell them but he doesn't want freeloaders so take your best items to prove that your worthy.
5. btw make sure lurer takes as much money/items with him as possible.
6. Then once they found a person
7. the other person who's camping would drop 10k which looks the same as any higher amount of cash.
8. Then the person camping would hide ontop of a cliff near the wild. It's a small cliff but you can't see them when they stand on it. But they can see the pile of cash.
9. Then the camping person has ice blitz or barrage hovering over the gold pile.
10. the lurer will walk to the wild with the person he lured. When they get there and see the 10k on the ground. The lurer will say something like "omfg that must be the 200m the drop party started!!".
11. The person lured will then jizz over free cash and rush to grab it.
12. As he goes to take the cash the person camping will ice blitz or barrage him then dds him out.
13. Once the person lured is k0ed you split the profits
ps - Jojo was really good at it though, I personally only made 700m doing it.

Real method was showing them rares and a shit load of mills, dropping mills in safe zone, alching a rune plate or something, dropping that 30k or so in the wild, going back to get his money.

 

during some time in rs not sure if its still the same. theres was specific ammount of goins on ground no matter if the pile was 20m or i think around 3600 gp. so all u had to risk was around 3.5k gold and the one that was being lured saw the biggest pile of gold possible in graphic. i still dont think droping 500m would make the pile look bigger than 100k
