How are we, as newcomers to the market supposed to start off?

I want to get into the gold market, but I can't buy anything off of anyone. I would go out and do free quests/skilling to get vouches, but with a job, I don't have the time to spend.

I also don't plan on losing money over this, neither does anyone. How are we supposed to get out there?

 

You could start with some free services for vouches. I opted to become really active on the forums before trying to trade.

 

Being active is a big part.

 

I don't know much about most of the stuff going on through the forums so I mainly stick around LoL section, and currently, it's not the most active section. Also, in OP I stated I don't have a ton of time for free services, especially the ones people ask for.

 

just get a lot of posts , and start by buying low amounts of gp and work your vouches up ... before u know it youll be trusted

 

People don't sell to me, they sell to larger guys.

Or you could try using other methods to purchase gold...you can't expect people to sell you gold via direct PP if you're a new user.

 

WU is a safe bet to go by, and I'm not upgrading by going to Paypal.

 

If you want to save some time get your post count up a bit and buy $300 donator, more people are willing to do small gold sales with someone that has donated $300.

 

$300 seems a bit steep. Maybe just a few dollars or even $25 plus get verified.

Other than that the easiest way is probably to change the payment method you are using.

 

Just saw your gold buying thread, it also doesn't help that you're paying the same price as trusted users with a huge amount of vouches.

 

Don't aim to make a profit at first, aim to build trust and break even. Once you're more trusted, then aim for bigger profits.

 

Start buying from people through safe methods, e.g. PA. I don't see you having a problem buying like that.

use player auctions, your best bet is to lose out by small margins in the first 6 months, gradually turning losses into profits, not many people are going to sell gold to you for paypal at the risk of chargebacks, when i get gold myself, id rather go to nytrix, or kmjt, due to the fact its minimal of a chargeback because there highly trusted.

Go buy some premium bot scripts and over very cheap services, leave your computer botting all day. - that may get you some extra vouches here and there.

 

Be persistent, break even and offer safe methods of payments for people who don't deem you trustworthy.

I understand where they're coming from. No one want to risk getting scammed. I wouldn't wanna trade with myself either. I'll probably just get some vouches at a higher price. Also, I've been trying to donate, but most options are via TBT, and he's never available.

 

That's your best bet is to buy high and break even for vouches. It's regards o donating, once you've donated $5 you can donate anymore through PayPal.
