How about we stop locking feedback threads

Fucking really, @video? I'm complaining about the staff trying to censor and shutdown discussion about them doing stupid shit and you go and do it again? The lock was CLEARLY not a scheduled lock. It happened FAR sooner than normal. The news threads have ALWAYS been used to talk about what happened and give feedback. Pretending that is spam is utterly RIDICULOUS.

@Moes, no I am not ignoring that fact, the staff is. It was locked hours before he was demoted not days later. Stop ignoring clearly valid issues because you are too sensitive about doing something wrong.

@kmjt and now they have locked the feedback thread about it. It is CLEARLY not about spam or posting in the wrong section. It is CLEARLY that the staff is literally clueless about how to deal with these things and CLEARLY they refuse to acknowledge when they screw up and try to censor their way to making it go away.

So let me just clear something up.

You're acting like the closing of the original thread was some huge illuminati level scheme to shut down the ability for people to complain. This is so far from the truth that reading your witch hunt of a complaint hurts my brain.

There is no set time line for the closure of news threads, some stay open for longer than others, some get closed quicker than others. It's simply staff discretion, and a matter of one of the members of staff realizing, "oh hey it's been a few days, we can close this now"

Simple as that. Put your pitchfork away and have a beer or something.

Usually I agree with you but I think you're overreacting this time around. What good would having it open be? Just tons of spam of the same shit "who is this guy" and so on. I think even Richard admitted he fucked up. Not sure what you're wanting out of this.
