    Anyone who hasn't used their account for a couple of years who has an @hotmail.com recovery email is blocked from automatic recovery.

    If you need to recover please open a dispute.

    Anyone who still has an @hotmail.com email set for their sythe.org sign-up email please upgrade to a gmail or other email account. We will begin blocking all @hotmail.com account recoveries two weeks from now.

    This is due to the large number of hackings @hotmail.com accounts attract and the ease with which hackers are able to re-make or recover these accounts.

    Thanks for this. I've been looking to change my registered email but I was told that if I changed the registered email the email that I receive emails to from sythe.org would not change. Is this true? If it is, can you make it that the notification emails always go to your registered email?

    Thanks I guess. I got targetted and the hacker used my sythe account to scam people.

    12 hours before it happened, Sellerman posted a thread in the suggestion forum. He advised the mods to make people aware of the hotmail exploit. Mods just expected everyone to know about it & closed the thread. 12 hours later I find my sythe account has been stolen by this hacker.
    It could have been prevented in some way. A small announcement might have made several people(as me) change their hotmail recovery emails right away.
