Horrible Player Auctions experience with 07 account

I bought an account off of player auctions a few weeks back. I know how risky account sales are and bought insurance on it. Well long story short it got recovered but I knew that was a possible risk so I wasn't upset but wanted to claim the insurance.

I logged onto multiple accounts on the same computer and this is the only one that I lost access and I regularly run virus scans and have active virus protection so I am disinclined to believe it was a virus

This is where it's been frustrating as hell with absolutely terrible customer support. I've gone to the livechat almost every day for the past week or two and literally get the same response over and over on how its been "escalated" and how I will get an email reply in a day or two.
Well the only two emails I've gotten is the automatic one for putting in an account reclaim ticket and another one with a "message" from the seller on how to recover it and the email included the account information. That account information was totally bogus. THE LOGIN NAMES ARE EVEN DIFFERENT.

Notice how the "account information" that Player auctions forwarded from the seller ends in @Y.a and starts with a "t"​

But yet the account that I bought has a completely different login



I would really like the 100$ insurance that I purchased on the account, what should I do? It feels like a scam not just from the account seller but player auctions too. It's ridiculous that I've had to spend hours in livechat trying to sort this out and still haven't made any real progess​

 

I've always stayed away from them but I've been hearing a lot of negative things about their site lately.

 

player aunction is cancer, the insurance doesn't even help, stay on sythe it's better

 

I don't even care about the account, I just want the insurance back so I can use it to buy gold, I'm not buying an account there again. I'm not mad about the account as I knew the risks. It's just shady because I've given player auctions proof with this and other things that the seller recovered and they still refuse to credit me with the insurance.

 

Yeah I know what you mean. I forget his name but the owner was a user here back in the day, anyone else remember? Best of luck to you man. I hope you get your money back.

 

What ever happened to Jake (I think that was his name) the rep from player auctions? Maybe he finally realized the company he worked for was garbage and came to his senses and left. Or maybe they canned him because he was actually helping people and was ruining their profit margins....

They really have the worst customer service. It's so bad the business just doesn't deserve to be running!

 

I didn't know they had gotten so bad. I emailed them again yesterday, hoping for a reply, also talked to a live chat rep earlier and my case got "elevated" for the 10th time

Which type of account was it? Was the seller on Player auctions trustworthy?

 

It was a pure, I liked the build so i went ahead and got it. The seller had over around 90 feedback and 98% rating. Also had the verified seller emblem

 

PA is and will always be literal cancer, never use that shit.

 

I keep saying this every time i see Pa threads since 2014.
PA is cancer and is an absolute scam.

 

It seems like nobody ever learns.


Best approach is to make your own account, and get it power leveled to your preference.

it's costly, but worth the reassurance knowing your account wont get compromised within days of purchasing. I have been doing this for awhile. i.E A 1-70 stat costs 60-70 bucks with the guy I have power leveling. Never had a single issue.

How can anyone feel safe buying an account that knowingly can get recovered at any moment. No surprise either that every time you buy an account it usualy never has any worth while gold or items on it.

 

Yes I am also doing this now. Getting it trained by someone else as its just more safer.
