Home Made GYM Advice

Don't waste your money on the "Pro Power Ab Trainer"

Check craigslist, you can pick up a lot of great deals there.
Yep, those prices I noted down are just the cheapest price of the items brand new.

i'm currently 5 foot 8 180 pounds repping 140 for dumbell press. It's beyond me why you're getting a gym to begin with when you already have a membership. The only reason I havn't put up any guides it because they're valuable and very few people would understand them.

oh and those power ab machine don't actually work, all they do is damage your spine. Best ab exercise is bicycles(exercise not machine) and all of the best ones are done without any equipment.
I would just prefer to have a home gym. Than be travelling half an hour on my bike to David Lloyd and also my Dad is only funding it because I reckon he will want to use it XD. Anyway I see you all aganist the Ab trainer I've used it before it was relatively good for me. But I'm still up for suggestions as I want the best possible equipment that will perform the best.

Could treat the biking as a warm up/cool down. I usually bike two miles as a warm up but that only takes 6 minutes. I highly advise against using any ab machines or weighted ab exercises. My abs ended up being very overdeveloped because of it, it still looks like I have a slight pot belly when I wear a shirt and i'm up to a 44 inch chest.
