    Help with bulking

Do you think 1 kg of chicken a day is enough to hit my protein goal? 1 g per lbs as well as my macro. Of course it isn't just the only thing that I am going to eat but I want to know if this works as well rather than spending so much money on protein supplements.

1kg of chicken a day is quite a lot! I also recommend peanut butter spread over ricecakes!

    Help with bulking

Youll get sick of eating that much chicken in a week so i wouldnt recommend it, for me it was very easy to hit my protein goal just by eating the stuff we had in our house

2 litres of milk: 80 grams of protein (i love milk)
2 protein shakes: 80 grams of protein
1 can of tuna: 40 grams of protein
400 grams of grounded beef: 80 grams of protein

+ all the other stuff i had with the meals, very easy like i said no need to force yourself to eat that much chicken

I spent on avg €60 on supplements per month so not that expensive

Yes that should hit your protein goal. Might wanna throw other types of proteins in there just for the sake of your taste buds :p Try tuna steaks, chicken burgers, etc.

    Some good alternatives.

Well, you never specified your protein goal.

But yes, chicken, especially chicken breast, will help you reach your protein goal. You want to space your meals out, sometimes six meals a day. Protein shake counts as a meal. Chicken and rice. Egg whites and oatmeal.

If you push your protein intake you'll end up shitting it all out.

Oh, and you don't want breaded chicken or use sauces. Dry rubs are good, but make sure they're low in sodium.

You all make it sound like you need to eat a fucking farm every day to hit your macros. Just track your macros and you'll realize that getting ~120g of protein each day isn't actually that hard.

Peanut butter is a fat source, it's not something you should rely on to hit your daily protein goals.

    Help with bulking

Bulking is a lot to do with your calorie intake as well. If you eat clean and get your protein in, as long as you are having around 500 calories above your Basal Metabolic rate, you will gain weight.

    Help with bulking

Try to bulk at 2400 calories for now, if you feel like you're getting fatter and not stronger, try to cut down to 2300 or 2200. I'd suggest eating five times a day, try to aim for 400 calories at least in each meal. Then supplement it with some four glasses of whole milk a day (8-10 ounces) and a protein shake before and after workout. Eat clean, grilled chicken, eggs, fish.

Why the fuck did you give him specific numbers to bulk on when you have no clue what his maintenance might be? If anything I'd say that estimate would be well under if he's having trouble gaining weight.

I have an eating disorder, got this when I did a terrible cutting (it was before I started lifting) so it's hard for me to eat a lot. Would you suggest mass gainer?

Damn that's some potent stuff, highest I've seen is 24g protein plus the milk

I used to have an eating disorder, where there's a will there's a way. Use it at first but use your goal to help correct it.
