Is it worth it to buy carries for the cosmetic drop? If i die every time?

 

Does death affect the drop chance?

I thought its just about making time for the kits.

I think that's ToA I think ToB is a random drop

ToA is just doing it deathless at 300/425/500.

I can see it was confirmed by Mod Arcane that dying does affect the drop chance the same way it does for uniques in normal ToB.

Getting it serviced remotely might also be another option.

I believe there was a quote from a Jmod on twitter, saying that if you die one or two times, your kit chances aren't hardly effected, but after 3+ deaths they become more rare. If you have at least a mediocre tob skill, a good team will be able to carry you and you'll likely only die 2 times or less. If you can't manage to get through the raid consistenly under 2 deaths, then having someone perform the service login or parsec would be more viable

Its not worth it, learn hmt. If you just constantly plank you lose kit chance.
