Higher total level = better drops in bh?

Not sure if anyone ells has heard about this but Supposedly you get better drops in bounty hunter if your have a good total level. I personally have been getting really junk drops on my level 74 with 99 str 60 attack and I don't understand why other then the fact my total level is very low. Has Jagex ever confirmed this any where and what are your opinions on the topic?

 

No, not true. Ive been getting good stuff on my pure which is 61 cmb. Even better than on my main. You're just not lucky.

 

Thanks for your opinion but that does not mean total level does not play a factor in the drop process

 

When I 76k on my 105 with 2165 total, my loots are just as shit as everyone else's.

And that can be considered a very good total level for my combat level too.

 

Maybe I am just having bad luck on this pure

 

I don't believe it makes a difference.
Experiment and make 2 accounts and get 1 to 500 total, shouldn't take long to get most skills to 50 or something.

i'm 2386 total and always had shit drops even at 100 ep

 

so people say it does, but i honestly dont see the difference. I think its just ep and dp

 

it's not just you mate, i get this aswell i get crap loots on pure but not so bad on main.

 

I did notice that I do get better loot on my Main than on my lower leveled Pures, it's quite frustrating; however, I don't know how loot is equated.

I assume it does have something to do with total level, but I think it has to do more with Quest Points, considering I seem to get same loot on Turmoil Zerker as my Main.

 

I'm level 94 with 1960 total, I get junk loot.

 

Well a big factor is the risks you and the person your fighting has. Pures really don't risk more then around 100-150k ish...When your a main your risk becomes much higher due to the fact of your armor. (Rune Plate Value > Monk Robes Value) Wearing rune set + neit/zerk + climbing boots is like 200k+ risk just from those 4 items...not including if your gloves,pots, ammys, rings etc...

 

I risk and the people I fight risk. Over the past few days of pking in bounty hunter I have gotten roughly 25 kills and my best loot was a pair of climbing boots lol.

 

Yep it's true, the higher your combat level is the better drops you will receive. Also depends on your opponents combat level, your dp and ep and how much your risking. Of course runescape is fucked up so you can be risking 50m and have a ton of dp and ep AND be 120+ combat level and still receive 200k loot.

 

I get better loot on my level 71 than on my 122 main. Got a vls my second day of pking on the 71, and I believe the EP was only at 3%.

It doesn't matter what i risk / what my ep is at in bh i always seem to get shitty loot

I dont think it matter's on your Total level, it's more of what your risking?
