Report/post/reason that got you banned: Scamming prior to joining Sythe.org. Steph/Unknown banned me after talking with Deacon Frost. I cannot remember which administrator it was.

This is largely copied from my last pardon request, as the majority of the information is still accurate.

What I am first guilty of is scamming prior to joining Sythe.org. Here is the link to how I scammed: http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/statraiserx/
9+ years ago I made a post on Petitionspot.com, a website that hosts petitions that people can sign. The petition I made was more of an advertisement for a Runescape stat changer. It was an attempt to lure people into e-mailing me usernames and passwords to their accounts.

I abandoned the petition on February 12th, 2006. On July 26th of the same year I closed the petition after seeing users still posting on it. I was, and still am, unable to delete the petition as the account [email protected] has been stolen, and I have forgotten the login details for the Petitionspot account. There were no benefits to doing this.

The majority of emails sent to me contained the login details for level 3 accounts. The only stolen account was given back when I left the site. I do not have any other proof of returning the account other than the above quote (which is also view-able on the page of the petition). I previously incorrectly stated that two accounts had their passwords changed. I believe I was mistaken and the correct number was only one. The majority of the posts on the petition by my name were not me.

After joining the website in January 2007 after the extended downtime, I became a User Educator and eventually Head User Educator within a few months in order to give aid to WoW Sucks. Having Head User Educator privileges gave me access to IP address lookups in the modCP.

Around June 2007, Sythe user WoW_Owns threatened to release details regarding my previous scamming unless I gave him IP details of various members. WoW_Owns was convinced that the moderators were breaking rules/scamming without repercussions. He asked me to give him the IP information on users' accounts to prove they had been banned for serious rule violations. WoW_Owns was eventually banned for scamming/keylogging type activity, as well as simply not being a tolerable person.

I posted here confessing to lying about the blackmail. The confession was a lie. I was still afraid of the details getting out because I knew I would be banned for the things I did before joining the site. It was another attempt to hide this. I confessed truthfully to Deacon Frost, who was another User Educator and prominent member of the forum at the time, linking him the petition on IRC or MSN (can not remember which one). I was banned by either Steph or Unknown after Deacon conversed with Unknown and revealed what I had told him.

I’ve also admitted to ban evasion on three accounts.

Two of the three accounts were banned for ban evasion. Both were banned after saying I was Six, and not for other reasons like scamming. I also became a User Educator again on Ekthador. ILWS appears to have been hacked after I stopped using the account and used Ekthador instead.

[WHY SHOULD I COME BACK?]
15 is a common age for choosing to do stupid things. What I did with scamming 9 years ago - when I was 15 - was both stupid and wrong. I am only glad that I didn't permanently hurt someone with my actions. Others have done far worse. I was afraid of the truth being revealed and I handled everything that happened to me very poorly. I've probably apologized more than is necessary for everything leading up to my ban, but I'll do it once more. Ban evasion is just another dumb thing I've done without reason other than hoping to satisfy my wants, but no harm was meant by those actions.

"Why do you even want to go back?" That's a question that comes to mind every time I think about doing this. I have been banned for 7 or 8 years or some other long amount of time. Though my time on Sythe was short, the memories were mostly good. I honestly doubt I would be active, but if I feel there is something I can say to add to a thread it would be nice to have the ability to do so. I still come by once in a while to lurk. Coming back is not terribly important to me, but something that still gets to me every once in a while.

I'm glad to know I had the trust of some people, yet I ultimately let them down. I think it's safe to say that everyone that once knew me has forgotten me. At times I was childish and, to put it quite plainly, an asshole. I didn't try my best to be a good person much of the time back then. I concentrated on inflating my own ego and internet personality. I'm ashamed of those actions, but I’ve never scammed on Sythe.

While I admit I could have been a better person, the majority of my actions while on the site have only been to make the forum a better place. Whether it was running the User Education section along with WoW sucks or the little things such as creating the the List of Staff – Past and Present, I can honestly say I at least tried.

I am always willing to answer questions for those who would like more information to help them with their decision. I'd give my personal email if any mod would like to chat. I spoke with Sythe (Richard) around December 2011, but it never led anywhere. I apologize for the wall of text, but I wanted to include as much information as possible. Some information may still be missing, but I'll gladly try to answer any questions you may have. Please let me know if I am wasting my time in trying to receive a pardon. Say the word and you won't hear from me again.
